“HI Otik, thanks for your feedback. The most helpful bit was the note about the bass, after simplifying it (almost) like you mentioned it cleaned the track up a lot. But your other feedback just made me realize I didn't want to make an emotional track anyway, I've been making tons of tracks soaked in pads and this was an attempt at something different. However I feel the track is done now and that you think the mix is excellent is just amazing :)”

Otik provided awesome feedback for my track. He was straight to the point and super clear on the key areas which needed improvement - I strongly recommend going to him for feedback/advice.

Hey, thanks for your feedback: sure, I get what you mean about the kick. I often struggle to find the good balance between atmospheres and a punchy kick. And yeah, I guess I could develop more the last part, but as you said, I wanted to make this one shorter for streaming platforms. Anyway, really glad you liked this one: it means a lot. I'll keep in mind your suggestions for future releases. Happy to be in touch. Gabriel

Thanks so much for your feedback! The idea of layering the melody and drums to thicken the mid-range while also automating the melody a bit more using filters and reverb is genius. Finally will swap with a punchier kick as suggested. Great tips!

Music feedback

Otik records a private video breaking down your track — mix, arrangement, sound design, or whatever you ask them to focus on. It lands in your inbox and you can watch it whenever you want, as many times as you like.
Early sketches are often the most valuable to get feedback on, before you get lost in too many iterations — but finished tracks work too if you want a second opinion or to get on the artist’s radar.
MP3, WAV or AIF, any length. Add a note and links when you upload so Otik knows exactly what to focus on.
Most feedback arrives within a few days. If Otik hasn’t responded within 7 days, you’re automatically refunded.
You can swap the track as long as Otik hasn’t listened yet. After that you can cancel the request for a refund and start a new one.
Yes. Once your feedback is delivered, you’ll find a private message option on your request page. Use it to ask the artist a follow-up question or get clarification on something they mentioned in the video.
