Get Music Feedback from Shoal

Shoal records a private video breaking down your track — mix, arrangement, sound design, or whatever you ask them to focus on. It lands in your inbox and you can watch it whenever you want, as many times as you like.

Early sketches are often the most valuable to get feedback on, before you get lost in too many iterations — but finished tracks work too if you want a second opinion or to get on the artist’s radar.

MP3, WAV or AIF, any length. Add a note and links when you upload so Shoal knows exactly what to focus on.

Most feedback arrives within a few days. If Shoal hasn’t responded within 7 days, you’re automatically refunded.

You can swap the track as long as Shoal hasn’t listened yet. After that you can cancel the request for a refund and start a new one.

Yes. Once your feedback is delivered, you’ll find a private message option on your request page. Use it to ask the artist a follow-up question or get clarification on something they mentioned in the video.

Book a live video call with Shoal. At the scheduled time you join the call, talk through your music, share your screen, and get personalized advice in real time.

Sessions run 30 or 60 minutes — you pick the length that fits when you book.

It’s optional. You can add your track, files, DAW and a note when you book, or anytime before the call — and edit it right up to the session so the artist can prepare.

Yes. You can reschedule for free anytime before the session. Shoal can also propose a new time, which you’re free to accept or decline. If Shoal doesn’t show up, you can reschedule or get a full refund.

All times are shown in your own local timezone, so there’s nothing to convert.
